Safety Outreach To The Police Station And Crime Response Unit in Lagos State

Police Officers are putting their lives on the line to ensure we stay secured amid the coronavirus outbreak. Not only are they under pressure at work, but they also face the fear of bringing the virus home to their families.

At The Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation, one of our response to Coronavirus(COVID-19) effect on our society was to provide preventive kits i.e facemasks and hand sanitizer, to help reduce the risk of their exposure whilst they watch over us.⁣

In a bid to reduce the risk of the police officer’s exposure to COVID-19 whilst on duty. ⁣the foundation distributed a total of 600 hand sanitizers and 1,000 face masks to the police station at Ikoyi, VI, Lekki and the Crime Response Unit in Lagos State through the center for Industrial Society.

We are very optimistic that we will overcome this scourge if we continue to follow the basic preventive measures to stay safe and healthy.
